Indiana Fever are on fire with six straight wins

Tamika Catchings and Shenise Johnson are tearing it up out there. Catchings, with her 14 points, and Johnson with her 1:32 score, are lifting the Indiana Fever to new heights.

Kizer’s hook shot in the lane led the team to a one point lead. They had been up by 12 points in the first half. The Fever won their sixth game in a row, on Sunday. They beat the New York Liberty 80-79, making it their eighth straight win at home. Clearly, with home-team advantage, this team is on fire, with their longest winning streak since 2009. The fans and the citizens of the team’s hometown are loving it – Fever fever is everywhere!

The game was a thriller on all levels, with the score swinging back and forth like a pendulum. But Shenise Johnson is a game-changer for Indiana. And, once again, in a critical moment, she nails the jumper shots with the clock winding down. In the fourth quarter, the Fever brought their defense to the table. The first half, was all offense with 55 points, shooting an impressive 56 percent.

The Fever present a timely defense towards the end of the game, after scoring 55 points in the first half. Shooting an impressive 56 percent, is what this team is all about.

As for The Liberty, Tina Charles holds her own, having scored 18 points, but New York was just no match for the on-top Fever.
